HELLO

Fashion for me is all about story telling and the emotion it evokes. I also believe in the power of fashion to inspire confidence and celebrate individuality.

I fell in love with fashion when I was 7 years old and all I wanted to do was drape dresses out of bed linens and danced around my parent’s living room.

Though I obtained my formal training at Parsons The New School of Design, it was seeing an idea come to life and make its way to its forever home during my time at Alice + Olivia and Michael Kors, that proved to me that I belonged in the fashion industry.

Years later, my focus shifted to men’s activewear. I was fortunate to work for Under Armour, where story telling and emotions go hand in hand with performance and function. I truly enjoyed trading the stilettos for sneakers and immersing myself in the sports world; as well as collaborating with athletes like Andy Murray and Tom Brady.

While at Fanatics, I focused on designing licensed men’s and women’s apparel for the Nike NFL and MLB consumer.

When I’m not designing, I enjoy learning from consumers themselves; what they are attracted to and the reason behind their purchase. From attending live games at arenas in the Dominican Republic to Japan; to working at retail stores like Madewell, Boho Hunter and Zara.

Recently, I strengthened my draping skills at the Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan, Italy. Beyond the practical lessons learned in the studio, I was able to connect with the craft and my passion for fashion.

I look forward to where the future of fashion is headed as well as my involvement in it.
